the case is a contract law case, but corona disposed it under the vague concept of “equity”. a second year law student taking up his law on obligations and contract can easily spot the megaworld case as a contract issue.

If we have a Chief Justice who lies under oath, and who has not been squeamish doing it repeatedly, then such Chief Justice must be removed before he pervasively infects with his putrefaction the very thing we all lawyers hold dear, which are that truth and justice and the solemn oath that has been guiding us in achieving those noble goals.

One adage remains to echo true: “Scratch a liar and you’ll find a theft.”
